1. PCB Printed Circuit Board


PCB (Printed Circuit Board), as an important electronic component, is the support of electronic components and the carrier of electrical connection of electronic components. Because it is made by electronic printing, it is called "printed" circuit board.

2. SMT Surface Assembly Technology


SMT is Surface Mount Technology, which is called Surface Mount or Surface Mount Technology. At present, it is the most popular technology and process in the electronic assembly industry.

3. PCBA


PCBA is the abbreviation of Printed Circuit Board+Assembly in English. That is to say, PCB bare board passes through SMT and then through the whole process of DIP plug-in, PCBA. This is a commonly used writing method in China, while the standard writing method in Europe and America is PCB'A with "'", which is called official idiom.

4. FPC Flexible Board

5. High Density Interconnection


HDI is the abbreviation of High Density Interconnector. It is a kind of technology for PCB production. It is a circuit board with high line distribution density using micro-blind buried hole technology. HDI is a compact product designed for small capacity users.

6. PTH


PTH (Plating Through Hole) metallized hole, so the layer connected with it is conductive; there is electrical connection. In contrast, NPTH (Non Plating Through Hole) non-metallic holes refer to holes without copper inside; electrical partition.

7. Welding pad


Solder pad pattern is short for solder pad land pattern/pad. It is located on the component installation surface of printed circuit board and acts as the conductor pattern for the interconnection of the corresponding surface assembly components.

8. Packaging


Packaging print package, according to the actual size of components (projection) and pin specifications on printed circuit boards, is composed of multiple pads and surface screen printing components assembly graphics.

9. Through-hole


Through Hole, which is used to connect the plating path between the surface layer and the bottom layer of printed circuit board, is used for inserting components.

10. DRC


DRC (Design Rule Check) Design Rule Check: A program to check whether the design contains errors. When PCB Layout is completed, DRC can be used to check for omissions and errors, such as short circuit, too thin line, or too small borehole.
